I would have thought i'd be over it by now but I just can't work with other people around! I can't stand the idea of people watching! weird huh?

I am the same way! I always get so uncomfortable to take photographs or participate in any other creativity publicly. It's terrible and I should get over it, but mucho sympathy over here! :)
thanks Meryl! have you ever seen painters paint live at an art event? it's amazing that they can create a huge painting while a huge crowd watches and music blasts!
I've done that on trips -- taken my camera and not taken any photos -- but I always figure that the things I see and do (on a trip) just add to my "artistic eye pool" somewhere in my subconscious and eventually become part of the my future creations. But now that I have an iphone, I really don't have an excuse! Love the feeling of the photo, you can almost feel the smoothness of the plant's leaves.
